What is Bad Credit?
Bad credit is generally defined as any payment obligation that is > 30 days past the due date. Other important histories that affect credit worthiness and credit scores include:
Number of days late: 30, 60, 90 days late
Public records: Tax liens or collections, Bankruptcy or Foreclosure, child support or alimony
Reported accounts in a credit history will include;
Credit card payments (revolving debt)
Installment loan payments (i.e. auto loans, personal loans)
Mortgage Loans
Some Utility accounts (phone, cell phone, gas and electric)
